HD 520 vs HD 530 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the HD 530 GPU is faster than the HD 520 in gaming.

Our database shows that the HD 530 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the HD 530 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, both the HD 520 and the HD 530 have an identical TDP. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the HD 530 is better than the HD 520.
