HD 505 vs Radeon Vega 6 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Radeon Vega 6 beats the HD 505 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Radeon Vega 6 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon Vega 6 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the HD 505 has a significantly lower TDP at 6 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 6 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon Vega 6 is faster than the HD 505.
