For gaming, the GeForce GT 710 graphics card is better than the HD 500 in our tests.

In addition, the HD 500 has a significantly lower TDP at 6 W when compared to the GeForce GT 710 at 29 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
