In our benchmarks, the GeForce GT 635M beats the HD 500 in gaming performance.
In addition, the HD 500 has a significantly lower TDP at 6 W when compared to the GeForce GT 635M at 35 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
