HD 4400 vs HD 505 comparison

For gaming, the HD 4400 graphics card is better than the HD 505 in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the HD 4400 and the HD 505 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the HD 4400 has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the HD 505 has a significantly lower TDP at 6 W when compared to the HD 4400 at 20 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the HD 4400 is better than the HD 505.
