HD 4400 vs GeForce GTX 680 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GTX 680 GPU is faster than the HD 4400 in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 680 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce GTX 680 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce GTX 680 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 1.66 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the HD 4400 has a significantly lower TDP at 20 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 680 at 195 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GTX 680 over the HD 4400.
