HD 4000 vs UHD 730 benchmarks
For gaming, the UHD 730 graphics card is better than the HD 4000 in our tests.
Our database shows that the HD 4000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the UHD 730 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the UHD 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the HD 4000 at 45 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the UHD 730 is faster than the HD 4000.
