HD 4000 vs UHD 710 specs and performance
For gaming, the UHD 710 graphics card is better than the HD 4000 in our tests.
The HD 4000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the UHD 710 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the UHD 710 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the HD 4000 at 45 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the UHD 710 is faster than the HD 4000.
