HD 4000 vs UHD 615 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the UHD 615 GPU is faster than the HD 4000 in gaming.
Our database shows that the HD 4000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the HD 4000 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the UHD 615 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the HD 4000 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the UHD 615 is better than the HD 4000.
