HD 4000 vs Radeon Vega 8 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 GPU is faster than the HD 4000 in gaming.

The HD 4000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, both the HD 4000 and the Radeon Vega 8 have an identical TDP. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon Vega 8 is faster than the HD 4000.
