HD 4000 vs Radeon RX 5700 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 5700 beats the HD 4000 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the Radeon RX 5700 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the HD 4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Radeon RX 5700 at 180 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 5700 over the HD 4000.
