HD 4000 vs Radeon R5 240 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon R5 240 GPU is faster than the HD 4000 in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon R5 240 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
In addition, the HD 4000 has a slightly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the Radeon R5 240 at 50 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon R5 240 is better than the HD 4000.
