HD 4000 vs GeForce GT 750M comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GT 750M GPU is faster than the HD 4000 in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GT 750M has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the HD 4000 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the HD 4000 has a slightly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the GeForce GT 750M at 50 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GT 750M is better than the HD 4000.
