GeForce RTX 4090 vs Radeon RX 7900 GRE benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 4090 beats the Radeon RX 7900 GRE in gaming performance.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 4090 has significantly more memory with 24 GiB of memory compared to 16 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE has a significantly lower TDP at 260 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4090 at 450 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4090 is better than the Radeon RX 7900 GRE.
