GeForce RTX 4090 vs Radeon RX 590 GME comparison

In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 4090 beats the Radeon RX 590 GME in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4090 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4090 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the Radeon RX 590 GME has a significantly lower TDP at 175 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4090 at 450 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 4090 is faster than the Radeon RX 590 GME.
