GeForce RTX 3080 vs Radeon RX 570 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 3080 beats the Radeon RX 570 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 3080 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3080 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 3080 has slightly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 570 has a significantly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3080 at 320 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3080 is faster than the Radeon RX 570.
