GeForce RTX 3070 vs Radeon RX 6800 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6800 GPU is faster than the GeForce RTX 3070 in gaming.

Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6800 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6800 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 6800 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the GeForce RTX 3070 has a slightly lower TDP at 220 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6800 at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6800 is faster than the GeForce RTX 3070.
