GeForce RTX 3070 vs Quadro K4200 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 3070 beats the Quadro K4200 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the GeForce RTX 3070 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3070 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce RTX 3070 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro K4200 has a significantly lower TDP at 105 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3070 at 220 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3070 is better than the Quadro K4200.
