GeForce RTX 3070 Ti vs Quadro P4200 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU is faster than the Quadro P4200 in gaming.
The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro P4200 has a significantly lower TDP at 100 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti at 290 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti over the Quadro P4200.
