GeForce RTX 3060 vs Radeon RX 6800M benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3060 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 6800M in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6800M has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6800M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 12 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6800M has a slightly lower TDP at 145 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 at 170 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3060 is faster than the Radeon RX 6800M.
