GeForce RTX 3050 vs GeForce MX150 specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card is better than the GeForce MX150 in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 3050 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the GeForce MX150 has a significantly lower TDP at 25 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 3050 at 130 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3050 is faster than the GeForce MX150.
