GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop vs Quadro K4200 comparison
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop beats the Quadro K4200 in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
As stated by the manufacturer, they both have the same amount of memory at 4 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop has a slightly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Quadro K4200 at 105 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop is faster than the Quadro K4200.
