GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop vs GeForce GTX 660 Ti benchmarks

For gaming, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 660 Ti in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop has slightly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 3 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop has a significantly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 660 Ti at 150 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop is better than the GeForce GTX 660 Ti.
