GeForce RTX 2080 vs Radeon RX 7900 GRE comparison

For gaming, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics card is better than the GeForce RTX 2080 in our tests.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 7900 GRE has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the GeForce RTX 2080 has a slightly lower TDP at 250 W when compared to the Radeon RX 7900 GRE at 260 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 7900 GRE over the GeForce RTX 2080.
