GeForce RTX 2080 vs Radeon RX 6700 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2080 GPU is faster than the Radeon RX 6700 in gaming.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6700 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon RX 6700 has slightly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6700 has a much lower TDP at 175 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 at 250 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 2080 is faster than the Radeon RX 6700.
