GeForce RTX 2080 vs Quadro 2000 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2080 beats the Quadro 2000 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the GeForce RTX 2080 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 2080 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 1 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro 2000 has a significantly lower TDP at 62 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 at 250 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2080 is better than the Quadro 2000.
