GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER vs GeForce GTX 1060 3GB benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER beats the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB has a significantly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER is better than the GeForce GTX 1060 3GB.
