GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q vs TITAN X comparison

For gaming, the TITAN X graphics card is better than the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q in our tests.

The TITAN X has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the TITAN X has significantly more memory with 12 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q has a significantly lower TDP at 90 W when compared to the TITAN X at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the TITAN X is faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q.
