GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q vs RTX A4500 Laptop specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the RTX A4500 Laptop beats the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the RTX A4500 Laptop has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q has a slightly lower TDP at 90 W when compared to the RTX A4500 Laptop at 115 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the RTX A4500 Laptop is faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q.
