GeForce RTX 2070 vs Quadro RTX 3000 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2070 beats the Quadro RTX 3000 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 2070 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 2070 has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a significantly lower TDP at 80 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 at 175 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 2070 over the Quadro RTX 3000.
