GeForce RTX 2070 vs FirePro W7100 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2070 beats the FirePro W7100 in gaming performance.

The GeForce RTX 2070 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the FirePro W7100 has a slightly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 at 175 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2070 is better than the FirePro W7100.
