GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER vs Quadro P4000 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER beats the Quadro P4000 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro P4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 105 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER at 215 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER is faster than the Quadro P4000.
