GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER vs Arc A770 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Arc A770 beats the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Arc A770 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Arc A770 has a significantly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER at 215 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Arc A770 is better than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER.
