GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q vs Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU is faster than the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q in gaming.
The GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q has a slightly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q at 80 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q over the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q.
