GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER vs Radeon RX 6800 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6800 GPU is faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER in gaming.
The Radeon RX 6800 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6800 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6800 has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER has a much lower TDP at 175 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6800 at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 6800 is better than the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER.
