GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER vs Radeon RX 5600M specs and performance
For gaming, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 5600M in our tests.
The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Radeon RX 5600M has a slightly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER at 175 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER is faster than the Radeon RX 5600M.
