GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER vs GeForce RTX 4060 Ti benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU is faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti has a slightly lower TDP at 160 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER at 175 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is better than the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER.
