GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q vs Radeon RX 6600M benchmarks
For gaming, the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics card is better than the Radeon RX 6600M in our tests.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 6600M has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6600M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 6600M has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q has a significantly lower TDP at 65 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6600M at 100 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q is faster than the Radeon RX 6600M.
