GeForce MX150 vs GeForce RTX 5050 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce RTX 5050 beats the GeForce MX150 in gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 5050 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce RTX 5050 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the GeForce MX150 has a significantly lower TDP at 25 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 5050 at 130 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce RTX 5050 over the GeForce MX150.
