GeForce GTX 980 Ti vs UHD 730 specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card is better than the UHD 730 in our tests.

Our database shows that the GeForce GTX 980 Ti has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the UHD 730 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the UHD 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 980 Ti at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti is faster than the UHD 730.
