GeForce GTX 980 Ti vs Quadro RTX 3000 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti beats the Quadro RTX 3000 in gaming performance.
The GeForce GTX 980 Ti has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that they both have the same amount of memory at 6 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a significantly lower TDP at 80 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 980 Ti at 250 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti is faster than the Quadro RTX 3000.
