GeForce GTX 970M vs Quadro RTX 3000 benchmarks
For gaming, the Quadro RTX 3000 graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 970M in our tests.
In our comparison, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Quadro RTX 3000 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 3 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 970M has a slightly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 3000 at 80 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Quadro RTX 3000 is faster than the GeForce GTX 970M.
