GeForce GTX 950 vs Radeon RX 6400 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon RX 6400 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 950 in gaming.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6400 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6400 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Radeon RX 6400 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6400 has a significantly lower TDP at 53 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 950 at 90 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Radeon RX 6400 over the GeForce GTX 950.
