GeForce GTX 950 vs Quadro K1200 benchmarks
For gaming, the GeForce GTX 950 graphics card is better than the Quadro K1200 in our tests.
The Quadro K1200 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the GeForce GTX 950 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro K1200 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro K1200 has a significantly lower TDP at 45 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 950 at 90 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 950 is better than the Quadro K1200.
