GeForce GTX 880M vs Radeon R9 370X benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 880M beats the Radeon R9 370X in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the Radeon R9 370X has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon R9 370X also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the GeForce GTX 880M has a significantly lower TDP at 122 W when compared to the Radeon R9 370X at 180 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 880M is better than the Radeon R9 370X.
