GeForce GTX 780 vs Quadro M2000M benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GTX 780 GPU is faster than the Quadro M2000M in gaming.
The Quadro M2000M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Quadro M2000M also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the GeForce GTX 780 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro M2000M has a significantly lower TDP at 55 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 780 at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 780 is better than the Quadro M2000M.
