GeForce GTX 770 vs Iris Xe MAX comparison

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 770 graphics card is better than the Iris Xe MAX in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 770 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Iris Xe MAX has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the Iris Xe MAX has a significantly lower TDP at 25 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 770 at 230 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 770 is faster than the Iris Xe MAX.
