GeForce GTX 690 vs Quadro RTX 3000 benchmarks
For gaming, the Quadro RTX 3000 graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 690 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro RTX 3000 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a significantly lower TDP at 80 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 690 at 300 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Quadro RTX 3000 is faster than the GeForce GTX 690.
