GeForce GTX 660 vs Quadro M4000 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Quadro M4000 beats the GeForce GTX 660 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 660 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro M4000 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 3 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Quadro M4000 has a slightly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 660 at 140 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Quadro M4000 over the GeForce GTX 660.
