GeForce GTX 660 Ti vs Radeon HD 8470 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GTX 660 Ti GPU is faster than the Radeon HD 8470 in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 660 Ti has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce GTX 660 Ti has significantly more memory with 3 GiB of memory compared to 1 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Radeon HD 8470 has a significantly lower TDP at 35 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 660 Ti at 150 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 660 Ti is better than the Radeon HD 8470.
